Description
A one-of-a-kind piece reconstructed from a vintage British duffle coat, with the proportions reconsidered and the design reworked. The body is widened by inserting fabric in a cross-shaped construction, while retaining and repositioning details from the original garment. The joined edges visible on the exterior are intentionally left raw, allowing them to fray and develop in character with wear. In contrast, all raw wool edges on the inside are carefully finished with binding.
