The film is based on an old book about Indian classical dance published in 1963, and photographs taken in present-day Jaipur, Varanasi, and Kolkata in India, as well as in a small village on the Bangladesh border.
The book also features textiles printed and embroidered in India, as well as parts of actual clothing and patterns. With a focus on the image of "physicality" at the core of the brand, the book showcases the brand's creative approach, which combines past and present, functionality and handcraft.
*This is a special edition with a cover made from a page from an actual old book, sewn by hand with thread that is also used for making clothes. Each cover is different.
